New Ground Capital is excited to announce the near completion of our latest Build-to-Rent development at New North Road, Mt Albert, Auckland.

This project introduces 44 brand-new, high-quality rental homes, designed specifically for long-term tenancy. The homes offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom options, catering to a range of modern living needs.

After an extensive search for the ideal location in the Mt Albert/Owairaka area, we were pleased to secure the site at 1088 New North Road from Kāinga Ora. The site’s proximity to the vibrant Mt Albert town centre, with its excellent services and transport links, made it the perfect choice for this development.

We are also proud to be collaborating once again with our iwi investment partners, Hāpai Housing LP, who have taken ownership of the development and named it “Kaweka.” New Ground Capital will continue to oversee both the completion of the project and ongoing property management, ensuring long-term success.

Civil works commenced in mid-2022, and construction, led by Mike Greer Commercial, is on track for completion in September 2024.
