In 2023, New Ground Capital successfully completed the Moroki Build-to-Rent (BTR) development in Glen Innes, Auckland. This project delivered 50 purpose-built rental homes, offering a range of one, two, and three-bedroom options to meet diverse housing needs.

We had long aspired to bring purpose-built rental housing to the Tāmaki area and were thrilled to secure the prime site at 50 Line Road from Kāinga Ora. The development’s close proximity to Glen Innes town centre ensures residents have easy access to local services, transport options, and community amenities.

Our iwi investment partner, Hāpai Housing LP, assumed ownership early in the development and named the project “Moroki.” New Ground Capital oversaw the development process, while New Ground Living has been responsible for managing the property since its completion in 2023.
