Kaweka BTR Development (Mt Albert, Auckland)
New Ground is excited to announce the completion of our latest Build-to-Rent development at New North Road, Mt Albert, Auckland on behalf of Hāpai Housing.
This project delivered 44 brand-new, high-quality rental homes, designed specifically for long-term tenancy and certified Homestar 7. The homes offer a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom options, catering to a range of modern living needs.
Moroki BTR Development (Tamaki, Auckland)
In 2023, New Ground Capital successfully completed the Moroki Build-to-Rent (BTR) development in Glen Innes, Auckland.
This project delivered 50 purpose-built rental homes, offering a range of one, two, and three-bedroom options to meet Tamaki's diverse housing needs.

Bureta Park BTR Development (Tauranga)
New Ground Capital is proud to announce a joint venture with Mike Greer Commercial to develop a premium housing project on the vacant land next to Bureta Park Supermarket in Otūmoetai, Tauranga.
We are excited to collaborate with a local Bay of Plenty investor group, led by Purpose Capital, to bring this much-needed development to life. This project is currently in the process of securing resource consent and aims to deliver approximately 45 purpose-built rental homes by 2026, addressing the growing demand for high-quality rental housing in the region.

Houkura NZ Defence Force Housing (Whenuapai, Auckland)
In June 2016, New Ground Capital partnered with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) to deliver 49 custom-designed rental homes tailored to meet their specific requirements. These homes are strategically located near the RNZAF air base at Whenuapai, ensuring convenient access for personnel. Completed in 2018, the homes are leased to the NZDF on a long-term basis, providing high-quality housing to support the needs of their service members.
Kerepeti Development (Hobsonville Point, Auckland)
This Build to Rent initiative, the first of its kind in New Zealand, offers households a rare opportunity to lease a professionally-managed rental property in a neighbourhood with high quality amenities, including the new Hobsonville Point primary and secondary schools. With lease terms of up to seven years, renting households know that they have security of tenure, whilst still being able to shorten their lease should their circumstances change.
